2011年9月19日上午,中国洛阳关林国际朝圣大典在关林广场隆重举办,洛阳上空发生罕见"日月同辉"天象。关林第一次采用高科技材料制作的"素三牲"献太牢，关帝陵第一次被信众献供的鲜花环绕，大典后还举办了2011年海峡两岸关公文化论坛并首发了学术论文集。
